Boitumar Pendant Necklace with Aquamarine.
A modern interpretation of the traditional Kazakh and Central Asian Boitumar - a sacred amulet pendant.
Today reimagined on a long beaded strand, inspired by the current trend for statement bead necklaces. The necklace is crafted with acrylic seed beads and howlite stones, creating a light yet expressive composition.
The Boitumar has long been worn as a protective talisman. Historically, falcon or owl feathers were placed inside for good luck and spiritual protection. 
Later, a written sura from the Qur’an was kept within, and sometimes even sewing needles - practical objects believed to guard the wearer.
This piece connects past and present:
an ancient amulet carried on a contemporary silhouette.
